... Paris fashion week has got to be one of our favourite global fashion scene’s. Usually Paris is the main fashion week out of all the four. This is mainly due to the fact the Paris has this chic, fashionable atmosphere that seems to draw the best out the designers that show during fashion fashion week. We have gathered some of the best shows we loved and that you need to know about ...
Nina Ricci’s latest AW17 collection showed subtle influences from the wild west by the use of silk fringing and collars with metal tips. It’s this fusion of chic and cowgirl that makes this collection so successful. Models strutting down the runway with saddle bags and elements of masculine tailoring adds a sense of order.
Following on from the spectacular SS17 show, Chanel have carried on the futuristic theme into this season. Again, adding a contemporary twist to the classic tweed suits, coats and boots. Space age mixed with old fashion Sixties. The grandeur of the show was not only embedded in the beautiful location but by the brand launching a rocket inside of the Grand Palais. Of course, huge names walking the show included Gigi Hadid, Lucky Blue Smith and Bella Hadid. Front row names included Cara Delevinge and Lily Rose Depp
A brand that I truly love, Ellery’s latest collection was all about the shapes and voluptuous clothes. Well known for their flare trousers, it felt as if the collection had a new vibe to it. With shoulder poufs and emphasis on sleeves. Definitely, Kym Ellery included a huge variety of colours and textures from shiny to latex to prints. Ellery redefines the modern woman in a artistic, french, chic sort of way.
After six years of being the best designer at Chloe, Clare Waight Keller’s final collection was inspired by dolls and girliness. This is represented by thigh high hems, fabrics and velvet. Oddly the collection felt doll like and sporty at the same time. Tracksuits, juxtaposed the girliness. School girl with a mixture of bad ass rebel somehow works really well.
A collection that was brought alive with its details. From funky shaped sunglasses to artistic earrings and bags with charms. It had a artsy, chic vibe to it. One of my favourite collections of PFW
Influenced by mixture of fabrics, mixing leather, sueded , frills and stripes. Featured pieces include polka dots, leopard-print sweaters and dresses.
