Concept: This season Victoria’s approach to her AW17 collection wanted to convey an attitude and wanted the women who wears her clothes to feel powerful, strong and individual. Oversized blazers, chiffon skirts, knee-high boots were very much predominant on the catwalk. The collection was inspired by Paul Nash, especially in terms of colour schemes.
Concept: This season is Raf Simons debut collection for Calvin Klein. The atmosphere surrounding the show from the artwork to the music brought together the whole collection. Multi-coloured suits from the 50’s and 60’s, adorned with stripes added to a sporty/old school feel. Raf wanted to explore America in a cultural and historical context. Zadig and Voltaire
Concept: Art Director Cecilia Bonstrom had a vision to portray a parson girl who is in downtown New York. French ideals mixed with City life brought a refreshing atmosphere to the collection. It almost felt as if the catwalk was a street filled with chic women, being photographed by Street- Style photographers.
Concept: Ease and elegance seems to be the thought that comes to mind with Sies Marjan. Creative directed by Sander Lak. The collection has a very casual vibe that comes from the draped fabrics covering the models. Almost like bedding. Skirts and dresses had long fabric pieces hanging down and trailing along the catwalk.
