This summer I have been perfecting my wardrobe with these 5 staple items down below! Since you guys know I buy most of my clothes from charity shops or second hand sites like eBay or Depop. I find shopping this way not only so much more beneficial for the planet but for your wallet too. However, I find sometimes even with charity shopping it can be easy to get carried away with buying clothes that you don’t really need or will sustain you. So I am making sure I always think in terms of investment and longevity of the item I am buying. So here are 5 items you must have in your wardrobe this summer:
01- An oversize blazer
I mean who can go wrong with this. It super easy to pair with some jeans and you will look effortless.
02- Leather sandals
An easy pair of slip on sandals are my go to when the weather is hot. These sandals by whistles are my personal favourite, I can literally walk in them all day.
03- A red pattern top
What can be more Parisian than a red frill top? Recently I have been obsessed by my £4 purchase of a Kooples shirt which I love.
04- A simple jumpsuit
So I have been on the hunt for a jumpsuit for ages! Literally for so long and the other-day I found a lovely Reiss’ jumpsuit from my local charity shop. It fits perfectly which I always struggle with for jumpsuits. A little bit of advise, be sure to take your time when finding the right fit.
